Okay, does anyone else hear the Twilight Zone theme right now? Or maybe the theme from Starsky & Hutch?

Maybe it's just me, but there have been some weird fangirl coincidences for me in the last last 24 hours or so, so much so that I had to share them...

So, after posting this vid of David Soul and Bobby Sherman singing early yesterday, what do I stumble upon while flicking channels last night? An episode of The Young Riders with David Soul guest starring as the villain. And, just seconds ago, my hubby starts heading up the stairs and he's singing "Don't Give Up on us Baby"! I asked him rather excitedly why on earth he was singing it and, along with the odd look he shot me, he answered that he was just switching channels and it was playing during the Owen Wilson Starsky & Hutch remake, which I refuse to have never seen. Too weird. I haven't seen David Soul on TV in years and, if not the for V-Day project in which I forgot to include him, I haven't thought of him in ages.

I dunno, I just thought that was very, very odd. But in a pleasantly cool kinda way too ;)

You may now return to your regularly scheduled Monday evening activities.

Why do you refuse to see the Owen Wilson S&H redeaux?

A number of reasons, TBH. Generally I dislike Owen Wilson as an actor, I didn't like the idea that the movie was a parody (according to reviewers and friends who saw it) and, most importantly, friends who know my movie tastes recommended against me seeing it.

I admit to curiosity about Messrs Glaser and Soul's cameos but, so far that hasn't been enough of a draw for me to watch it ;).
